Youth Innovation Challenge! - Taiwan OCA Calls for Fresh Ideas for Tackling Marine Debris for Total $3,000 USD Prize
In celebration of World Oceans Day this week, the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the 2022 Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC): Tackling Marine Debris. This challenge will invite people aged 15–30 from around the world to share fresh ideas for tackling marine debris issues. Three winners will receive a $1,000 USD grant.

Using Virtual Reality to Educate Students About the Ocean
The ocean and marine environment face many challenges, including overfishing, pollution, temperature increases, the introduction of invasive species, and more. The BLAKE New Zealand (NZ) Virtual Reality (VR) program was launched in 2019 to connect young people with oceans and the marine environment in order to promote ocean stewardship.
